Spectrum and Spectrum Compatible Accelerograms and Response Spectral Shapes
Spectrum Compatible Accelerogram |
The application Simquake generates spectrum compatible accelerograms, which are normally required in earthquake engineering for dynamic analysis, in generating floor response spectra. The application can generate as many time histories as desired by simply choosing an initializing random number. The quality of compatibility between the target response spectrum and the time history response spectrum (often referred to as SDRS and THRS) is displayed by the application. |
Generating Mean and Mean+ sigma Spectral Shapes
|
This application Generates Mean and Mean + standard deviation spectral shapes from a set of accelerograms. These shapes can be updated from time to time, as more and more accelerograms become available. The application can also generate a set of spectral compatible accelerograms. This feature is used here for viewing the functioning of the application. |
